Artist at Work

Today I had the opportunity to do a photoshoot of our local glass bead artist Marilyn Nugent while she was in the process of performing her talents creating a glass fish bead. I will be posting some additional photographs of her and the bead that she was creating in my presence.

Crowded Workspace
Crowded Workspace

Stockpiles of different colored glass rods, matches, files, plyers, tin cans and many other tools of the artist all within reach to enable her to work quickly so the glass doesn’t get ahead of her. It was a gem being able to see this happen.

The Finished Product

Just 12 minutes after starting from scratch there was this finished product that was a thing of beauty. I’m now purchasing that for my wife as a necklace.
